It’s the most wonderful time of the year – Black Maternal Health Week. Black Maternal Health Week takes place every year from April 11th –17th. It’s that time of year where as a doula, I get busy proclaiming the good news of doulas to the world and how we can improve black maternal and infant health. What’s so special about this year is that so many partners and colleagues have included Metro Mommy Agency to be a part of the conversation. We are honored to amplify the issues of black women because we know that the value of a black woman to our society cannot truly be measured and we deserve the attention.
If you value black mamas, please join us on any of these events happening locally in South Florida (Miami-Dade & Broward County) and online for those of you joining in from around the world.
